Vice President, Business Affairs The candidate responsible for negotiating and structuring complex development, production, distribution, rights acquisitions and other agreements for company business affairs. Responsible for business affairs functions, including all phases of negotiations on projects in development and production. Negotiate development deals, talent deals, rights acquisitions, co-productions, etc. for live action and animated motion pictures. Collaborate with, provide advice to and synthesize feedback from management. Handle other general motion picture business affairs projects, as assigned. Maintain awareness and understanding of the latest developments in the law and technology as they relate to the development, production and distribution of content.

The candidate must have a JD Degree. Must be a member in good standing of California Bar. Should have outstanding academic credentials. Must have 6 years experience at major entertainment law firm or motion picture legal department at major studio, or 3 years in business affairs department at major studio. Strong negotiation skills mandatory. Should have ability to foster a cooperative work environment; demonstrate ability to work in partnership with the company business areas, including creative, physical production, production and legal. Superior organization and project management skills are necessary.
