Compensation and Benefits Director The candidate will work in Compensation and Benefits Tax practice. Would work with a team of professionals to advise boards of directors and the C-suite of companies of all sizes on various compensation matters. Primary responsibilities include completing complex tax projects, participating in engagements requiring tax analysis/modeling for a variety of entities, providing tax and business advice in regards to complex transactions, and tax research and writing. With this position, will further analytical and communication skills while adding value for clients by helping solve their complex problems. Lead client engagements on a day-to-day basis and manage staff members on various projects, including: Benchmark compensation and develop reports to support the compensation recommendations; Design annual and long-term incentive awards while considering the tax, accounting, and other regulatory ramifications; Prepare tax calculations and various analyses/models to help clients make better informed compensation decisions and comply with the applicable rules and regulations; Work on mergers and acquisitions, including performing complex tax calculations for target companies and their executives; Review/draft technical memorandums and letters related to compensation and benefits issues; Participate in client meetings and collaborate with colleagues; Assist with marketing initiatives by writing articles, preparing pitch decks, researching targets, and developing presentations. A Bachelor s degree required. Advanced Degree preferred: Masters in Accounting/Finance, J.D., or World at Work Certified.
