Senior Legal Counsel Procurement Duties: Will utilize procurement experience, which will include expert legal support on all supply chain issues, such as knowledge of product warranty, title transfer, indemnity (both general and IP), licensing, IP escrow, handling of warranty claims, confidential information, limitation of liability, handling of supplier disputes, drafting of. The role will manage legal business matters pertaining to the organization and provide a variety of commercial legal services to a number of in-house clients. Review legal data and advises organization on appropriate legal action to be taken. Qualification Requirements: Law degree. Membership of the California Bar. 6+ years of Procurement experience. Ideal candidate should have a passion for the renewable energy industry and desire to be part of a team that is transforming the way energy is generated, distributed, and owned around the globe. Legal support of Contract manufacturing is preferred. Display initiative and accept responsibility for own actions to get the job done under minimal supervision. Apply knowledge and skills to perform assignments with little instruction. Understanding implications of work, exercise judgment and discretion in recommending solutions and improvements to processes. Ability to collaborate with other staff to develop new procedures and processes, complete assigned tasks in a timely manner. Effectively utilize available and relevant technical tools and resources (e.g., Microsoft Office, other software or hardware, manufacturing systems and equipment, etc.). Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to explain detailed and specialized job-related information to diverse audiences. Act as a subject matter expert.
