Litigation & Disputes Management Counsel Senior Manager Duties: Protect the company from financial and reputation risk by developing and executing risk mitigation strategies; advising and shaping legal strategy for senior executives to resolve disputes and litigation with a focus on supporting our state and local government practice; playing an integral role in the company s global compliance program to reduce the risk of government investigations, managing and directing litigation, arbitration, and corporate investigation matters; coordinating with Accenture s corporate communications and office of government relations in connection with disputes and litigation; helping maintain and implement e-discovery and data preservation program and underlying processes and procedures in connection with litigation, disputes, and subpoenas. Develop and present strategic options to OG (primarily the Public Service OG) and GP management for minimizing adverse (legal and reputation) risk to the company. Handle litigation and dispute matters. Work with outside counsel, manage litigation and corporate investigations on day-to-day basis. Manage and supervise outside counsel, including managing budgets and work plans. Participate in and conduct corporate investigations on occasion. Work closely with corporate communications and government relations to manage reputation risks arising from disputes and litigation. Manage e-discover and data preservation activities and underlying processes, procedures, and legal obligations. Qualifications: JD Degree from accredited law school. 8+ years at law firm or in-house, combined. Preferred: Partner at law firm. Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment. Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. Desire to work in an information systems environment. Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Excellent leadership and management skills. Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian. Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian.
