Counsel III - Community Banking and Conduct Management Office The candidate will join newly created Community Banking and Conduct Management Office section, primarily supporting the Conduct Management Office (CMO). Will deliver coordinated legal advice in collaboration with other subject matter experts in the Law Department to support the CMO s key functions, including: Sales Practices Oversight, Ethics Oversight, Complaints Oversight, and Internal Investigations. Should have active State Bar membership. Must have 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney. Significant legal experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: Ethics; Internal investigations; Complaints management; Consumer protection; Employment law; Financial services regulatory compliance; Customer segments; International issues in community banking. Extensive knowledge and understanding of research, counsel, and guidance on complex legal questions or inquiries are needed. Should have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Must have ability to succinctly communicate effective legal advice, taking legal risk and business objectives into consideration. Ability to analyze legal issues in substantive law in area of practice and provide effective advice to clients on complex legal matters is preferred. Deadline: 09/11/2017.
