Labor and Employment Attorney The candidate should have 5-7 years of law firm experience to work on a contract hourly basis to respond to EEOC, state agency discrimination charges, wage and hour complaints and OSHA audits for a nationwide company with approximately 100,000 employees. Candidates must have familiarity with the various federal, state and local government administrative agencies and the ability to handle agency charges including making detailed risk assessments, conducting investigations (in person or by telephone), preparing position statements, defending and preparing employees in fact-finding conferences and on-site visits, representing company in mediations and conciliations, and negotiating settlements. May also need to appear at mediations, hearings, and on-site agency audits. Must have 5-7 years of Labor and Employment experience. Should have J.D. degree from an accredited law school and active law license. Should be excellent writer, strategic thinker, and strong communication skills.
