Associate/Deputy General Counsel, Global Privacy The candidate will work with a team of engineers and business people to ensure that we provide the highest level of protection for our customers. Coordinate with engineers and business people to help shape the development of new products, features, and services. Develop written policies and procedures to ensure a transparent experience for customers. Lead auditing and monitoring activities to ensure compliance with statutes and regulations worldwide. Counsel senior management regarding all privacy-related matters; develop and implement training programs. Coordinate with the security team so that our privacy and security protocols meet the highest level of protection for the customers.

The candidate should have JD degree with excellent academic credentials. Must have 8+ years of experience as a lawyer and substantial in-house or government experience with privacy compliance for technology companies. Top-tier law firm and substantial in-house or government privacy experience with technology companies preferred. Experience with privacy litigation and regulatory actions strongly preferred.
