Senior Counsel I - Environmental & Regulatory The candidate will: Responsible for advising business operators and compliance organization team members on regulatory issues, with a particular emphasis on environmental matters, and representing the company s interests before local, state and federal regulators. Will periodically counsel members of senior management, and the candidate must exhibit the competence and professionalism needed to earn the trust of members of the company s management team. Manage outside counsel and possible supervision of other in-house attorneys, paralegals or administrative assistants.

Qualifications: Law degree from an accredited law school, and a license to practice law in at least one jurisdiction. 6+ years of legal experience required. Must have administrative law and regulatory experience. Significant experience in environmental regulatory matters is required. A combination of in- house or government experience and private practice experience is preferred. Standard computer skills. Superior written and verbal communication skills.: A team player who can effectively communicate with and respond to clients in a timely manner. Must be able to work independently with outside counsel. Must exercise good judgment in all tasks. Should be familiar with standard legal concepts, practices and procedures applicable to administrative and criminal proceedings. Must be able to work collaboratively with other legal staff members and the compliance organization teams.
