Compliance Counsel Global Ethics The candidate will be assessing, managing and providing guidance on the organization s global data privacy and protection risk. Will be assessing and monitoring compliance risk, and providing guidance associated with enhancement of internal business and financial controls. Under the direction of the Chief Compliance Officer, the Senior Director, firm Code and/or the Senior Director, Global Investigations, provide oversight of and hands-on direction and advice in the end-to-end process of conducting internal investigations, including directly conducting investigations involving allegations of misconduct including but not limited to, fraud, corruption, conflict of interest and theft. Working with management and others to develop and implement remediation plans to address investigation findings and outcomes. Ensuring firm is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, in coordination with HR, Finance, EH&S, Global Security, Internal Audit and the business leadership. Providing legal guidance to firm management and functions. JD degree from an ABA accredited law school or international equivalent. Must be licensed, in good standing, in at least one jurisdiction and able to obtain appointment as Florida Authorized In-House Counsel. Experience successfully conducting, directing and providing legal guidance on complex workplace investigations in multi-jurisdictional environments, including reporting investigation findings to senior management and executives is needed. Experience providing guidance to management on remedial actions resulting from internal investigation is advantageous. Experience working with government regulator is essential. Experience in the investigative analysis of financial data is preferred. Proven knowledge of / experience assessing and providing guidance on global data privacy and protection risk required. Should have 7+ years of work-related experience, with 5+ years significant prosecutorial, government investigation or experience conducting internal investigations as an in-house or outside counsel. Proven knowledge of / experience in conducting end-to-end compliance investigations in multi-jurisdictional environments is preferred.
