Finance Attorney The candidate will provide legal guidance and support for organizational legal issues including expanded jurisdictions, securitizations, structured financing, and other financial agreements. Will take a legal leadership role and negotiate and close various bond transactions, including in jurisdictions new. Will assist in non-recourse lending, corporate facilities, securitizations, and structured financings. Will provide advice and support company-wide on a variety of legal issues on a daily basis in a timely and effective manner. Will collaborate with representatives from various departments on developing and modifying practices and procedures to conform with legal requirements, including new jurisdictions. Will formulate and implement corporate legal policy concerning a variety of legal issues. Will identify, research and analyze relevant federal, state and local requirements and translate the requirements into business solutions. Will act as a liaison with outside law firms. Will participate in due diligence for mergers and acquisitions and other transactions including drafting and reviewing agreements. The candidate must have a J.D. Degree. Should have 5+ years of experience in finance or related field. Should have 4+ years of law firm experience. Should have knowledge of financial transaction work in public and/or structured finance. Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should have ability to work in a fast-paced environment and strong collaborative skills. Should have strong problem-solving abilities. Should have demonstrated critical thinking skills and high ethical standards. Should have ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing demands.
