IP Licensing Corporate Counsel The candidate will provide expert legal support to the company's IP licensing program. Will provide expert service and support to the company in the licensing of IP, including trademark licenses copyright licenses, both inbound and outbound, with domestic and international partners. Lead, negotiate and close on IP licensing transactions. Maintain licensing data and providing regular reports to management. Provide analysis, advice and risk mitigation on proposed public releases. Support the development and maintenance of the company's global intellectual property portfolio. Develop and maintain deep knowledge of the Company's business strategy and IP issues as well as continuously learn about current and historic products and technologies.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field and 5+ years of directly related experience. A J.D. degree and active State Bar membership are required. Registration to practice before the USPTO is needed. Must have demonstrated experience with IP licensing transactions, including licenses of trademarks and copyrights. Experience with audits of licensees is required. Experience with international intellectual property issues and transactions is preferred. Experience with FAR and DFAR intellectual property regulations, contract clauses, and issues is desired. Experience with media licensing is an asset. Certified Licensing Professional designation is a plus. Membership and demonstrated active participation in relevant professional organizations such as LES, AUTM, INTA or similar organizations is ideal.
