Employment Attorney The candidate will work directly with members of the legal department, human resources, and the business functions to proactively manage and mitigate employment law risks. Will provide individuals with disabilities an equal employment opportunity, firm will consider reasonable accommodations that might involve varying job requirements and/or changing the way this job is performed, provided that such accommodations do not pose an undue hardship. Provide day-to-day employment law advice and counsel to HR and management on a variety of subjects including employee terminations, FMLA and other protected leaves, ADA reasonable accommodations, employee relations including discipline, wage and hour issues, and various types of employment agreements including offer letters and separation agreements. The candidate will also be expected to provide litigation strategy in connection with employment disputes and in this connection manage outside counsel. Assist in the administration of the North America Ethics and Compliance program. Should have 7+ years of experience. Proven results based performance across all areas in functional scope is needed. Experience translating business strategies into accountable priorities for the team is needed. Demonstrated successful managing of individuals or team to achieve goals while maintaining individual or team satisfaction is needed. Demonstrated experience counseling or mentoring individuals to enable them to meet personal goals while simultaneously meeting organizational need is needed. Excellent verbal and written communication skill is advantageous.
