Administrative Assistant-Default Litigation/Attorney Oversight

Administrative Assistant-Default Litigation/Attorney Oversight The candidate will answer phones, takes messages, and maintain calendar appointments for Default Litigation/Attorney Oversight Manager. will take meeting minutes at department weekly meetings. Complete scanning, copying, and faxing for Default Litigation and Attorney Oversight Departments and order supplies for departments. Handle all UPS shipping, and open and distribute incoming mail. Create and maintain department, company, attorney, and client contact sheets. Create and distribute task report, invoice report and additional fee request report to Default Litigation staff members. Perform other such responsibilities and tasks as assigned by the Default Litigation Assistant Manager, Attorney Oversight Assistant Manager or Default Litigation and Attorney Oversight Manager.

The candidate should have Paralegal or College Degree preferred or 3 years of related experience. Should have2-5 years of experience in Law Office, corporate legal department or mortgage servicing company. Experience in a legal environment related to compliance, mortgage servicing and/or vendor management is needed. Experience with foreclosure and bankruptcy attorneys and the foreclosure and bankruptcy processes are required. Experience with loan systems is desired. Excellent Word and Excel skills are plus.
