Associate Real Estate Counsel

Associate Real Estate Counsel The candidate will be an integral member of the company s real estate team and will have the opportunity to assist on a wide variety of real estate transactions, including land leases and purchases, real estate due diligence and land financing transactions. Directly contribute to the company s numerous and ongoing real estate transactions (with a heavy focus on land acquisitions, leasing and due diligence) in a high volume and time sensitive environment. Draft, review, and negotiate real property leases and purchase and sale agreements. Manage and perform title and survey review and other real estate related due diligence. Identify the need for, and proactively undertake to obtain, necessary easements, consents, assignments, licenses, affidavits, encroachment agreements, subordination agreements and other title curative documents. Participate in land closings and land financing transactions. Assist senior real estate attorneys, and manage and oversee in-house paralegal staff, on various projects. Develop professional relationships both within the company and outside the company. Other duties as assigned. A Juris Doctorate Degree from a top Law School, with commensurate academic performance, is required. Should have 2-3 years transactional Real Estate legal experience. Must have experience performing all aspects of real estate due diligence, including title and survey review. Experience negotiating and drafting purchase and lease agreements and real estate financing documents is needed.
