Senior Corporate Attorney The candidate will be responsible for supporting firm's litigation and compliance functions, including developing and implementing compliance programs around FCPA and other anti-corruption regulation, privacy law, third party vendor and partner vetting and onboarding, as well as compliance with internal policies. Will be responsible for rolling out training on a company-wide basis relating to compliance programs, as well as responding to any violations of policies as they arise. Also be responsible for international litigation and regulatory disputes, including managing outside counsel and coordinating internal efforts to support firm's positions. Work closely with Finance, Sales, Internal Audit, Operations and other teams. Also responsible for certain compliance requirements and implementation, including export controls, privacy, and other compliance obligations. May manage outside resources and/or internal headcount to achieve department goals. Provide pragmatic, collaborative and solution-oriented legal support throughout the company. Manage strategic and practical responses to litigation and regulatory issues, including managing outside counsel. Develop and roll out compliance programs, including ongoing reporting. Will need to be able to independently identify compliance risks and propose practical solutions. Needs to be able to present problems and solutions to executive management in a concise manner, with fully developed legal positions and an understanding of business implications. Provide project management, implementation and training in relevant areas. Collaborate with various groups to understand and ensure consistency with the company s business, financial and risk management objectives. Proactively communicate and escalate decisions as appropriate. Contribute to ongoing process improvement and problem solving for the legal group. May lead and manage direct reports or contractors, responsibilities include resource management, hiring, mentorship, and performance management. Conduct various additional other legal and ad hoc projects as required. Should have JD degree and Bar Admission, or equivalent qualifications. Must have 8+ years of experience, preferable both law firm and in-house.
