Government Contracts Attorney

Government Contracts Attorney The candidate will partner with clients to solve their most difficult challenges through a combination of consulting, analytics, mission operations, technology, systems delivery, Cybersecurity, engineering, and innovation expertise. Will serve as a government contracts attorney with a solid background in federal procurement transactions to join the legal department. Practice as a member of the government contracts practice group, a team of attorneys that support the federal business across civil, defense, and intelligence markets. Serve as a lead account attorney, work on a wide range of complex issues at the prime and subcontract level, provide risk reviews, and assist with a variety of government contract and legal department initiatives.

The candidate should have a JD degree. Must have 8+ years of experience in US government contracting matters. Experience with the FAR, DFARS, Procurement Integrity Act, protests and interventions, OCI and PCI, mandatory and voluntary disclosures, Competition in Contracting Act, bid protest process, DCAA cost accounting and pricing principles, novations, investigations, and claims essential. Experience with corporate in-house work preferred. Experience in a large law firm or corporate law department, including government work desired. Experience with M&A, Service Contract Act, and small business contracting plus.
