Commercial Real Estate Attorney, Vice President The candidate will provide legal support for the Bank s Real Estate Industries Group businesses, including Institutional Markets, Regional Markets, Commercial Mortgage Division, Tax Credit and Syndications, Community Development Finance, and Capital Markets Solutions. Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents for real estate secured loans, construction facilities, syndicated transactions, affordable housing tax credit transactions, real estate capital markets products, and related letter of credit and swap facilities. Advise clients on all issues related to real estate lending, including title insurance, FIRREA, flood insurance compliance, environmental and seismic impairment, easements, encroachments, entitlements, CC&Rs, subdivisions, and mechanics liens. Assist and advise clients in structuring real estate transactions. Should preferably have 6+ years of applicable professional experience in the State of California; both in-house and outside counsel experience. Must be a member of the California State Bar. Familiarity and experience with real estate-related banking regulations is a plus. Substantive knowledge and experience, the attorney must have excellent risk analysis skills and judgment, outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, and a reputation for timely transaction execution is required.
