Senior Healthcare Corporate Counsel

Senior Healthcare Corporate Counsel The candidate will review and negotiate contracts and arrangements to support the marketing, sales, and medical affairs groups including distribution, managed markets, consulting, sales, advertising, and other commercial vendor contracts. Will advise internal clients on legal and regulatory healthcare compliance matters including promotion, advertising, anti-kickback, pricing, and reimbursement. Represent the legal function on product, publication, and medical affairs committees including for approving promotional and advertising materials, grants, and ISTs. Interface directly with the Compliance, Legal, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Commercial Groups to assure seamless coverage. Must have JD degree, membership in good standing of one State Bar. Should have 5-7 years of legal experience with a predominant concentration in biopharmaceutical/life sciences regulatory/compliance law, preferably as in-house counsel to a biopharmaceutical organization or as outside counsel with substantial work for biopharmaceutical or other life sciences industry clients. Expertise in laws affecting the biopharmaceutical industry, including governing the development and commercialization of pharmaceutical products, e.g., FD&C Act, anti-kickback, HIPPA, cGMP is required. Experience drafting biopharmaceutical agreements is needed. Strong written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to communicate concisely to internal clients, to integrate legal and business knowledge and to provide balanced advice is must.
