Compliance Risk Assessment Counsel The candidate will be responsible for developing risk assessment tools and training materials, delivering training to Regional and Local Compliance managers, supporting the execution of annual risk assessments in international markets, conducting select in-market risk assessments, supporting mitigation action plans and coordinating to identify trends across Compliance, and serving as a resource to support the development ad hoc risk assessment reviews. Will support the design and execution of an enhanced US Risk Assessment and Mitigation Planning process. Will coordinate closely with Business Unit Compliance, Compliance Monitoring and Analytics and other Legal and Compliance stakeholders to develop the enhanced program, and with cross-functional stakeholders, including Commercial, to partner in its execution. Develop tools, materials and trainings to ensure the consistent and optimal execution of market risk assessments. Support the implementation and management of GRC system facilitating the execution of market risk assessments. Lead select comprehensive market risk assessments. Provide guidance and support to local and regional compliance leads in the execution of in-market risk assessments. Review and analyze in- and cross-market results to support the development of remediation strategies and identification of trends. Liaise with firm's Compliance Committees, Audit and Legal functions to provide supporting data and reports on activities and remediation efforts for Global Risk Assessment and U.S. RAMP. Develop creative and industry-leading enhancements to the US Risk Assessment and Mitigation Planning process in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders. Develop creative and thoughtful solutions to key initiatives, taking into account current legal and regulatory landscapes, firm policies and procedures, and current/future needs of business and other stakeholders. Coordinate across relevant cross-functional teams to set strategic goals and objectives and to influence senior colleagues within the Division as well as cross-functional. Serve to foster strong relationships and alliances cross-functionally to attract ideas and identify new ways to approach compliance-related requirements. Must have JD or equivalent law degree. Should preferably have 6-8 years of practicing law; experience in risk management or compliance in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Risk assessment and/or investigations experience is desired. In-depth understanding of US healthcare-related laws and regulations and industry standard, including the federal false claims act, federal anti-kickback statement, OIG regulations and guidance, pharmacovigilance issues is a plus. Understanding and experience of the Foreign Corruption Practices Act/UK Bribery Act is required. Experience in control management, remediation, and advising on internal policies and process is must. Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, as well as, skills in Tableau and other data visualization software is helpful.
