Senior Counsel and Director, Commercial Contracts The candidate will provide legal support, advice, and counsel to the Americas region. Will draft, review, and negotiate commercial and international tenders, RPFs, contracts, licenses, and other legal documents. Identify, assess, and manage legal risks facing the business. Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements, legal processes and policies, and contract management. Deliver timely, pragmatic, and business-focused legal counsel to clients, even in ambiguous situations. Legal research and writing, due diligence, transaction and litigation support, as needed. Comply with and ensure department compliance with Company health, safety and environmental policies. Comply with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulations. Other duties as required.

The candidate should have JD degree from accredited Law School. B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited college or university is essential. Must have 7-10 years of professional experience, preferably both law firm and in-house. Must have International commercial experience, preferably in high-technology or defense industries. Must have detailed working knowledge of Commercial and Government contracts (US and International). Corporate law and transactional experience is essential. Must have General knowledge of export control regulations. Management or project leadership experience is preferred. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word). Must be member of the Bar in good standing of one US jurisdiction. Must have excellent writing and proofing skills and sound practical and business judgment. Spanish Fluency is a plus. Deadline: 24 January, 2018.
