Vice President and Associate General Counsel, Employment and Litigation

Vice President and Associate General Counsel, Employment and Litigation The candidate will be responsible for and provide advice and counsel to management, and staff in matters related to traditional labor and employment law, employment contracts, workplace compliance, dispute management, and general litigation, as well as engage and oversee the work of internal and outside counsel. Will also oversee the company's Driver Qualifications and Wage and Hour Compliance functions.

The candidate should have a Law degree (JD) from an ABA accredited law school. Must have 10 years of progressive, broad legal experience focused on employment and litigation, preferably in a government contract environment. Some initial training in a nationally recognized law firm is strongly preferred. Must be licensed to practice in Texas. Progressive experience managing the legal function in a large corporate environment of 10,000 or more employees required. Experience with unions and traditional labor a plus. Experience with insurance and insurance defense also a plus.
