Associate General Counsel- Contracts

Associate General Counsel- Contracts The candidate will draft, review, revise and negotiate contracts. Will develop and update contract templates and related training and reference materials. Provide advice and assistance to other company departments regarding interpretation of contracts, proposed transactions, risk analysis and policies, etc. Collaborate with the company's business units to achieve business objectives. Develop legal strategies, and direct and supervise outside counsel on a variety of assigned projects. Work on special projects including developing and updating company policies and process improvements. JD degree from accredited law school and license to practice law is required. Should have 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in corporate legal department or law firm (Director Level). Must have 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in corporate legal department of law firm (VP Level). Patent knowledge is a plus. High proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint also is required.
