Senior Counsel, Compliance The candidate will responsible for all NA compliance (antitrust, antibribery, data protection, privacy), training, annual risk audit, quarterly cross-functional compliance audits, and presenting compliance to the NA HH leadership team. Will manage significant role working with the Area Compliance Officer in Amsterdam and the Area General Counsel in Parsippany in the design and development of the RB compliance program as well as the implementation of the corporate compliance program in the US. Development for the US of written policies, procedures, practice directions, training and education as well as related communication, monitoring and reporting to the Area and the Corporate Headquarters. Assist with monitoring the evolving federal, state and industry guidelines affecting the company s overall U.S. compliance program and adopting and implementing processes and procedures in order to ensure ongoing compliance. Responsible for implementing global policies and procedures, and maintaining US compliance scorecard for reporting to the Board. Travel at least 2 times per year to Amsterdam or Slough (where Chief Compliance Officer sits), or otherwise as needed in North America eg.Canada. Attorney licensed to practice in the US with 5 years compliance experience (in the consumer products industry is a plus) is needed. Member in good standing with at least one US state bar and the ability to serve as corporate counsel in New Jersey is essential. Quick thinking, with the ability to interface effectively with internal and external senior management, solving problems on a real-time basis is needed.
