Environmental Litigation Senior Counsel

Environmental Litigation Senior Counsel The candidate will provide legal advice, manage and direct environmental matters and related litigation to achieve corporate objectives while appropriately balancing risks. Will work with business, remediation group, corporate clients, regulatory agencies and peers to maintain real-time communication with alignment of project goals and strategies ensuring no surprises. Apply appropriate internal and external resources and where managing outside counsel/vendors, setting budget and strictly control costs to meet corporate objectives. Demonstrate leadership and vision in management of numerous concurrent complex matters and client needs with limited response time in a positive team-building manner. Must have 6+ years relevant experience in an environmental law practice (or at an environmental agency) with demonstrated experience in TSCA, CERCLA, RCRA, Clean Air, Clean Water and/or state law issues. Should have admitted to practice, active member and in good standing in a US State Bar. Experience developing strategy, managing and leading teams with sole accountability for results is required. Multiple jurisdiction enforcement experience is preferred. Service on a corporate TSCA or similar committee is a plus. Legal project management training or experience is helpful. Civil litigation and trial experience is desired.
