Junior Counsel (Compliance) The candidate will be reviewing transactional and ancillary documents of proposed commercial agreements. Will be providing sound legal advice to businesses overseas concerning resolution and negotiation of problematic clauses. Managing the BHGE Antiboycott Portal and restricted Antiboycott SharePoint site. Staying abreast of regulations and trends regarding US Antiboycott laws (IRC 999/EAR 760). Tracking internal Antiboycott request metrics using established tools. Compiling and sending quarterly reports to the U.S. Department of Commerce - Office of Antiboycott Compliance. Escalating urgent and/or complex antiboycott issues to International Trade Counsel. Consulting with outside counsel, as necessary. Assisting with the development of antiboycott training programs and facilitation of such training. Performing other duties as necessary. Issue spotting and resolving problematic boycott language. Organizing and implementing the Company s Code of Conduct Questionnaire. Tracking Code of Conduct Questionnaire completion progress using internal Code of Conduct Questionnaire database. Reviewing affirmative responses for potential violations of Company policy, laws, or regulations. Adjudicating urgent compliance matters to appropriate personnel for review. Performing other duties as necessary. Developing the anti-bribery online module and instructor-led module. Coordinating training delivery schedule with Human Resources. Communicating training requirements to leaders and target audience. Tracking completion progress using internal mandatory training dashboard. Providing Legal approval for removal and/or reassignment of training requirements. Performing other duties as necessary.

The candidate should have JD degree or global equivalent from an accredited college or university. Active Bar membership is essential. Must have 1-5 years experience working in a legal/compliance department. Experience facilitating training across multiple business units is essential. Excellent written and oral communication skill is essential. Experience with compliance issues is desired. Record of successful teamwork and excellent interpersonal skill is preferred.
