Real Estate Attorney

Real Estate Attorney The candidate will work closely with in-house and outside counsel and company representatives on matters related to the acquisition of property, including:Review, negotiation, and management of purchase and sale agreements, leases, license agreements, cell tower leases, billboard leases, and easements. Will use approval and environmental due diligence with regard to the above. Review and negotiation of construction contracts and development agreements. Graduate of an accredited law school is essential. Should be licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas. Must have 2+ years legal experience in transactional real estate. Law firm or internal legal department experience is preferred. Title and survey review experience is preferred. Review of due diligence reports -- environmental, zoning, geotechnical, building inspections is preferred. Lease review is preferred. Some experience with land use is preferred. Must have strong communication skills to take ownership of zoning and due diligence activities that are critical to the property acquisition process.
