Corporate Counsel, Legal Affairs and Contracts The candidate will provide legal services to the company as requested, with a specific emphasis on corporate governance, contracts, due diligence for acquisitions, and real estate matters. Review, draft, and analyze agreements. Prepare and file documents with the Bureau of Real Estate and other government agencies. Maintain corporate books and records and prepare corporate governance documents. Conduct due diligence in connection with the company s acquisition of real estate and timeshare interests. Stay current on relevant industry and consumer protection laws, and disseminate information to relevant team members quickly and effectively. Must have JD from a top tier law school. MBA is a plus. Should have 4-7 years of experience in corporate governance and transactional work, including drafting, reviewing, and analyzing agreements. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. California Bar or admission as Registered In-House Counsel is needed. Experience in the hospitality industry preferred.
