Corporate Counsel Candidate will work on some of the most exciting legal and business issues in technology today as support part of our Service Provider Business Unit, including Mobility Business Group and team, through one of the most critical and disruptive transitions in the history of our industry. While supporting the Mobility Business Group, will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects like shift to virtualization and the cloud, the transformation from a hardware to a software business, and our efforts to bring 5G core network to market. While supporting ASIC team will help bring next generation of silicon to market. Will handle challenging questions that require innovative solutions and will create real change. Drafting and negotiating a wide variety of contracts for strategic relationships, including technology licenses, IP transactions, and development, partnership, beta, platform, cloud, XaaS, and services agreements. Serving as trusted advisor to business and engineering executives. Participating as a member of the business leader s extended leadership team and being the first point of contact on all legal issues for the business leaders. Advising business clients on the various legal risks, business strategies, and other issues related to commercial transactions, engineering, product development, and business operations. Driving constant improvement to existing legal templates, licensing models, legal and business processes, and legal support models. Being adept at making sound legal judgments quickly in order to facilitate business execution while minimizing risk. Working on a broad range of disciplines including intellectual property, competition, privacy, marketing, licensing, and regulatory issues.

Qualifications: JD Degree and excellent academic credentials. US state Bar admission in good standing. 4+ years of relevant experience structuring, drafting and negotiating complex in-bound and out-bound commercial and technology agreements; ideally a combination of law firm and in-house experience is preferred. Specific experience with licensing and commercial transactions involving information technology. Desired: Validated excellence with regards to your legal and business judgment, technical acumen, and critical thinking. Ability to excel both independently and cross-functionally. Ability to present complex issues in a clear and concise manner and provide succinct legal advice. Experience supporting the business in the creation of new products and solutions. Experience with silicon, chips, ASICs and foundries is a plus. Deep knowledge of intellectual property law, commercial contracts, and business law. Ability to field issues across a diverse set of legal fields. Strong influencing and leadership skills, including decisiveness on both legal and business issues.
