Corporate Counsel, Commercial Technology Transactions The candidate should have 5-7 years legal experience to join their growing Go To Market legal team based in Pleasanton. Will work on serving as the lead attorney negotiating all renewal transactions for firm s enterprise customer base, as well as, expansion transactions for new product offerings. Responsible for driving legal efficiencies and value to support the customer base business vertical, and partnering effectively with deals management, sales, and sales operations. Heavily focused on driving consistency and thought leadership across the entire Go To Market legal team in support of all business verticals and customer facing transactions, assisting and driving build out of deal negotiation playbooks, continuous improvement of firm s customer facing transactional terms and conditions and risk allocation framework, and partnering closely with product legal and colleagues in GTM legal to drive optimal legal terms for new and existing product offerings. Must have Juris Doctorate degree and excellent academic credentials. Should have Bar Admission, preferably California. Should have 5-7 years of law firm or in-house legal department work experience, with 2+ years focused on negotiation of significant technology transactions. Must have excellent contract negotiation and drafting skills and a highly polished and professional demeanor. Specific experience in a SaaS, cloud computing, enterprise software or social network environment is highly value. Must have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to create and sustain lasting relationships with customers and management.
