Senior Manager and Corporate Counsel, Procurement

Senior Manager and Corporate Counsel, Procurement The candidate will be responsible for providing day to day legal support to the procurement department. Drafts, reviews and negotiates vendor agreements including software license agreements, SaaS subscriptions, consulting agreements, real estate leases, marketing agreements and travel agreements. Drafts and provides guidance and training on contract templates and procedures. Manages the contracting process, including drafts, amendments and renewals. Coordinates with internal compliance, privacy, IT and security departments to ensure adherence to corporate policies. Provides such other support as requested. Must have Juris Doctorate degree with an excellent academic record from accredited law school and admitted in Colorado or eligible for admission. Should preferably have 2-4 years of experience, with some in-house experience and law firm experience. Transactional experience is required. Working knowledge of privacy regulations including GDPR is needed. Extensive experience in drafting and negotiating standard and non-standard commercial contracts, interpreting and drafting license terms, advising internal business leaders on risk and developing solutions is needed. Proven personnel management skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
