Compliance and Competition Counsel The candidate will be responsible for the development and strategic and tactical delivery of firm's compliance programs, initiatives and updates to firm's channel management, business and functional teams. Will have hands-on experience (i) developing, advising on, and leading the compliance aspects of firm's global policies and processes for indirect commercial channels (e.g., distributors, resellers and other third parties), and (ii) providing and implementing competition and compliance guidance and initiatives to partners domestically and internationally. Also conduct trainings, counsel globally on all competition matters, closely partner with firm's field legal team and support internal compliance investigations. Play a key role in elevating and improving firm's global compliance program. Responsible for growing, managing, and monitoring a robust channel compliance program in a rapidly evolving technology company. This program will address all aspects of competition law, conflicts of interest, trade controls, and anti-corruption and anti-bribery in the channel with a focus on preventing, detecting and remediating risk in line with firm's compliance framework. Responsibilities includes performing risk assessments, drafting and updating policies, providing legal advice on partner selection and onboarding, distribution, channel sales practices and other compliance matters, training employees, performing ongoing competition law risk monitoring and continually improving such programs. Enhancing the antitrust/competition law compliance program for a complex global business to ensure the company and each of its subsidiaries, affiliates, and partners complies with all applicable competition laws, regulations, orders and judgments. Designing, drafting and updating competition policies and procedures tailored specifically to legal and business requirements. Monitoring legal and regulatory changes that impact the company s business across the globe. Developing online and in-person training programs to ensure employees fully understand laws and risks associated with channel practices. Working closely with business leaders and relevant teams to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, practices and procedures. Working with the channel team to streamline and improve partner selection and retention processes. Leading cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements. Performing competition compliance risk assessments on a regular basis. Performing compliance monitoring and assisting with internal investigations. Providing legal advice and making recommendations to the Senior Director in the areas of competition law and compliance program best practices and standards. Counseling on federal, state, and international laws and regulations concerning competition and trade regulations. Providing strategic legal and risk management counsel to global and regional business and functional clients on compliance requirements stemming from competition laws, the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and other anti-bribery and corruption laws, among other laws and regulations. 0Supporting various Legal Department special projects.

The candidate should have JD degree from a top university. Must have 7 years of experience working as a lawyer at a top law firm and/or experience running an in-house antitrust program. Must have experience working with in-house (legal and field) channel teams and deep understanding of the legal and business issues that arise in a channel sales model. Experience as a trainer on various compliance topics including anti-corruption and competition is required. Experience working inside a global company is helpful. Professional presence, excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, and experience delivering crisp, clear executive presentations is required.
