Senior Corporate Counsel, Compensation and Benefits The candidate will report to Apple s Director Compensation and Benefits Law, collaborate with firm s People, Stock, Finance, Tax, Payroll, and Benefits teams, as needed. Will work on advising on executive and broad-based compensation plans and programs and related corporate governance matters; assisting with the preparation of materials for meetings of the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors; assisting with compensation disclosure items in connection with the annual proxy filing; advising the People team on issues related to compensation and benefits programs; providing compensation and benefits legal support for M&A transactions; analyzing various corporate governance matters, fiduciary issues, and new regulations. Must have Juris Doctorate degree. Must have 10+ years of relevant experience. Strong technical knowledge of relevant U.S. federal tax and securities laws (IRC, 33 and 34 Acts, ERISA, Sarbanes-Oxley, Dodd-Frank) is required. General familiarity with applicable foreign laws related to employee compensation and benefits programs in non-US jurisdictions is preferable. Must have superior academic credentials, exceptional references, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational abilities. Prior in-house (public company) legal experience, strongly preferred.
