Counsel III - Division Coordinator - Corporate Governance and Securities The candidate reports directly to the Deputy General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Will be responsible for providing a diverse range of project management, strategic initiative, analytic, communication, and operational related legal services to the Deputy General Counsel to whom it reports and to the entire Division. Responsible for leading cross functional and virtual teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services, and initiatives that are larger in scope and complexity. Examples might include interacting with Corporate Risk and members of senior management on projects and initiatives, as well as leading projects involving process improvement and redesign or business and risk initiatives. Involve in change management initiatives within the Division and Legal Department and in partnership with external constituencies. Coordinates with lawyers, paralegals, and other support staff on status tracking and progress update reports as may be necessary. Assists team in the development, documentation, and standardization of Division processes and procedures. Oversees regular and ad hoc training to attorneys, paralegals, and assistants. Coordinates team meetings, agendas, follow-ups, and manages information flow as needed or requested for the Division. Develops and maintains relationships with internal stakeholders and related groups so that the Division effectively and efficiently receive, respond to, and manage its work by aligning with appropriate subject matter experts, attorneys, paralegals, and assistants. Provides leadership to consultants and analysts in the integration/implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners, recognizing the significance of competing priorities and strategies. Develops metrics and tracks and evaluates performance of programs, services, and initiatives. Provides support for the definition, development, and implementation of technology solutions within the Division in partnership with the Legal Department s Technology and Operations group. Ensures plans and programs adhere to appropriate policies and regulations.

The candidate must have 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney. Should have active State Bar membership. Ability to analyze legal issues in substantive law in area of practice and provide effective advice to clients on complex legal matters is preferred. Extensive knowledge and understanding of research, counsel, and guidance on complex legal questions or inquiries is desired. Effective organizational, multi tasking, and prioritizing skills is a plus. Close Date: 05/22/2018
