Labor and Employment Attorney (Independent Contractor / Virtual Position) The candidate must be an experienced labor and employment attorney with 5-7 years of law firm experience to work on a contract hourly basis to respond to EEOC, state agency discrimination charges, wage and hour complaints and OSHA audits for a nationwide company with approximately 100,000 employees. Must have familiarity with the various federal, state and local government administrative agencies and the ability to handle agency charges including making detailed risk assessments, conducting investigations (in person or by telephone), preparing position statements, defending and preparing employees in fact-finding conferences and on-site visits, representing company in mediations and conciliations, and negotiating settlements. Must have 5-7 years of Labor and Employment experience. Must have Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school and active law license. Excellent writer, strategic thinker, and strong communication skill is essential.
