Compliance Counsel

Compliance Counsel The candidate will administer guest incidents reports (GIR) received from out customer sites and coordinate with our general liability insurance carrier. Coordinate with defense counsel handling GIRs that develop into law suits gathering incident and legal documentation, identifying and assisting in scheduling company employee depositions and trial preparation. Work with customer support management to identify operational risks along with policy and procedure improvements to eliminate or reduce risk. Review customer and vendor contracts. Administer the non-disclosure agreement (NDA) process to insure consistency and maintenance of a central repository. Review employment offers and contracts for consistency. Liaise with outside counsel as need for technical expertise on employment laws. Maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents. Uphold a strict level of confidentiality. Develop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff and clientele. Provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports and handling confidential information request. Liaise with company's international offices and work with CFO and others to coordinate with law and accounting firms on signatures and paperwork needed for international filings. Other Duties and special projects as required. Must have Law degree with 2+ years of experience in a corporate legal department or law firm. Should have experience in a broad range of legal experience. Excellent writing and communication skills required.
