Assistant General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer The candidate will be responsible for oversight of the company s overall global compliance program. Will partner with the Company s leadership team and business to ensure organizational compliance with laws, industry requirements and Company policies. This position reports to the General Counsel. Consistently finds opportunities to strengthen and improve the culture of compliance at the company, including by partnering with department heads and regional general managers to build relationships with the compliance office. Ensures appropriate policies and procedures for the general operation of the global compliance program and its related activities are created, adopted, published, and communicated to employees in order to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct. Periodically reviews and updates the code of business conduct to ensure continuing currency and relevance in providing guidance to management and employees. Coordinates, and administers an effective compliance training program to ensure that all appropriate employees and management are knowledgeable of, and comply with, pertinent laws and regulations. Responds to alleged violations of laws, regulations, policies, and procedures by evaluating or recommending the initiation of investigative procedures. Implements investigative protocols and oversees investigation process, including conducting or managing privileged compliance investigations. Ensures that compliance issues/concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated, and resolved, and that there is an effective and consistent system of discipline to address any misconduct. Establishes and implements periodic risk assessments, audits, and reporting procedures to identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk. Develops and implements preventative and corrective action plans to mitigate identified risks. Provides reports on a regular basis, and as directed or requested, to keep the Corporate Compliance and Ethics Committee, the Board of Directors, and senior management informed of the operation and progress of the Compliance Program. Maintains a working knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and enforcement actions to identify emerging risks. Alerts the company to trends and risks and assists in implementing policies and procedures in response thereto. Responsible for compliance with GDPR and other global data privacy laws

The candidate must have 10+ years experience in global technology corporate compliance with a demonstrated in-depth understanding of applicable legal, regulatory, and compliance matters, including GDPR and other data privacy laws. Should have JD degree; licensed in good standing. Proven track record of leadership and ability to partner with all relevant team members is required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple, conflicting priorities while managing a substantial workload is needed. Experience supporting commercial legal team in the negotiation of data privacy related matters is must.
