Insurance Regulatory Counsel

Insurance Regulatory Counsel Responsibilities: Manage and oversee market conduct and financial exams. Oversee preparation of regulatory filings (e.g., Holding Company, policy rate and form, company licensing and other reporting requirements.). Partner and interact with state regulators. Manage department s handling of consumer complaints, and information requests. Provide guidance concerning financial statement disclosures. Oversee monitoring of insurance laws and insurance department actions (e.g., penalties, fines, bulletins).

Requirements: JD Degree is required. Admitted to a U.S. Bar. 5-10 years experience in a law firm and/or insurance corporation. Must have experience handling insurance regulatory matters and must have demonstrable experience in one or more of the areas of responsibility. Accounting experience preferred. Strong analytic and interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Strong leadership ability.
