Junior Corporate Legal Counsel

Junior Corporate Legal Counsel Duties: Manage the corporate transaction, governance matters, compliance and regulatory aspects of the Legal entities in close cooperation with all stakeholders under the lead of the Senior Corporate Counsel. Will ensure the organisation complies to the applicable laws and legal framework by following up on legal changes and assessing its possible impact on firm. Will: Advise management regarding corporate law matters to ensure that the highest use is made of the offered government measures; Assist in governance matters and adaptation of corporate documents in this respect. Manage the corporate compliance aspects of the Deloitte Legal entities belonging to the network as prescribed by the Belgian Company Code or by the Deloitte policies, relating to eg. the meeting of the management bodies and the general meetings of the partners, the incorporation or the reorganisation of these legal entities and their management; Coordinate and follow up on partner matters; Assist the regulated businesses in regulatory matters.

Qualifications: Master in law - Post university degree in corporate law or notary is an asset; have between 0-2 years of experience in the same area, function; Excellent command of Dutch, French and English, both written and spoken; Strong initiatives and excellent organizational skills, eager to learn, problem-solving skills; Being a real team player, reliable, flexible, respectful and co-operative to make sure good relationships with internal and external stakeholders can be build.
