Privacy Attorney

Privacy Attorney Duties: Work on site at one of their client s offices. Provide support for commercial agreements dealing with data privacy issues. Provide proactive strategic leadership and guidance on privacy and data security issues. Advise on compliance and best practices across all aspects of global privacy and data protection law and regulation, including data use and sharing, analytics, data retention, data security and data breaches. Advise on potential business impact of proposed changes to U.S. and international privacy and data security laws and regulations. Provide strategic expertise and partnership to the company s legal teams on a wide range of data protection and other global privacy matters.

Qualifications: JD Degree or LLM from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in the U.S. CIPP strongly preferred. 5+ years experience with privacy, GDPR and data securities issues. Strong project management experience and skills. Law firm and/or in-house law department experience. Have a substantive understanding of GDPR, privacy and data security issues. Have strong analytical skills and effective communication skills including with senior leaders. Have the ability to juggle multiple projects and demands, and the ability to learn quickly. Are able to work independently while exercising great judgment and attention to detail. Are knowledge-focused rather than task-focused; understand the importance of capturing and re-using information. Schedule: 2-3 days per week Term: 3 months
