Junior Counsel, Intellectual Property The candidate will manage a patent portfolio with an eye towards strategic and competitive initiatives. Will assign patent preparation and prosecution matters to outside counsel and supervise their work product to assure it meets firm's standards of quality, timeliness and cost. Prepare and prosecute strategic, high quality patents. Participate in firm's invention disclosure review process to help ensure that appropriate inventions are identified and patented. Work closely with firm's scientists and engineers to identify and protect inventions. Support product clearance activities.

The candidate must have 2-5 years of experience. Must have drafted at least 50 original patent applications and personally prepared over 200 substantive amendments. Must have BS degree in either Electrical, Chemical, or Physics Engineering discipline. Should have JD degree from an accredited university, and admission to a State Bar. Must have Admission to the USPTO. Must have excellent written and spoken English. Must have strong academic credentials. Experience in a large corporate environment as an attorney is desirable.
