Corporate Counsel The candidate will advise the Company and Employees regarding difficult and complex legal matters, including matters related to intellectual property, regulatory compliance, export controls, and contracts, in accordance with established company policies and procedures and under limited supervision of the supervisor. Will offer counsel to Employees and Company management on a wide range of legal issues. Researches and advises (in a proactive manner) with respect to changes to regulations or other unique legal issues that may impact the Company. Drafts and reviews legal agreements and other documents as required. Provides expert legal advice related to contract terms and conditions, requirements, and compliance issues. Provides expert legal advice related to risk management. Supervises export control compliance reviews, completes required documentation, and advises Employees regarding export and import matters. Coordinates with outside counsel as required to address complex legal issues. Develops and delivers legal-related training to Employees as required.

The candidate must have J.D. degree and 3+ years of prior related professional experience. Prior experience with export control regulations is preferred. Must be a member in good standing of a State Bar in the United States. If not licensed to practice law in Texas, must meet all eligibility requirements to practice law as a "Foreign Legal Consultant" in the State of Texas pursuant to 1(b) of Rule XIV of the Rules Governing Admission to the Bar of Texas. Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English. Must be able to read, interpret, and explain documents such as procedure manuals, government regulations, and legal documents, write effective correspondence for both internal and external consumption, and speak effectively before groups of employees, clients, or vendors. Must possess sound reasoning skills and regularly show ability to interpret and explain complex technical rules, regulations, and instructions. Must have advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products, specifically Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word.
