Senior Corporate Counsel, International Compliance Monitoring Lead The candidate will lead a monitoring center of excellence that is responsible for driving, refining and operationalizing a cross-functional and ex-U.S. monitoring strategy that focuses on the top compliance risks across geographies, business units, and activities. Will lead efforts to test -- and ultimately operationalize -- the use of analytics to drive the development of innovative, analytically-powered Compliance solutions. Lead teams that dive deeper into certain activities to assess whether a particular risk has been realized or to develop fit-for-purpose monitoring solutions. Provide expertise in setting enterprise-wide monitoring strategies across a range of risk areas. Provide strategic support to global initiatives that involve or impact compliance monitoring and analytics activities, e.g., advising on new systems, policies and procedures, and data capture practices; and otherwise supporting initiatives endorsed by the Commercial Quality and Compliance Committee. Coordinate with existing monitoring functions and local and regional compliance leads to inventory, understand, and influence the continued evolution of monitoring and data-generating activities. Assess global data-entry practices to identify systems-based limitations and inefficiencies, as well as opportunities to normalize data-entry across markets (leading to better, more consistent global data). Helping to design and operationalize local monitoring solutions, often in response to risk assessment findings and observations; Developing activity-specific monitoring tool kits that local colleagues can operationalize in a fit-for-purpose manner; and Providing advice and counsel to local leaders as they work to deliver on their monitoring-related accountabilities. Continue to build a compliance analytics capability that leverages data to identify patterns, trends, and signals that elevate our compliance discourse and support a more risk-focused and quality-driven approach to compliance oversight. Specific activities may include:Leading hypothesis-driven analytics initiatives that explore select high-risk activities; Developing analytics to support ongoing risk assessment, investigation activities or other compliance activities; and / or Otherwise supporting the growth of a global community of practice that uses data and analytics to drive a continuous local dialogue about risk.

The candidate should have excellent academic qualifications, J.D. degree or master's in finance, business administration, or the data sciences. Must have 8+ years of experience in some or all of the following areas: healthcare law and policy, regulatory law, healthcare compliance, FCPA, public accounting, auditing, and / or data science including statistics, predictive analysis or data mining. Must be comfortable reviewing and analyzing large volumes of data, using data visualization tools like Tableau and Spotfire, and using and evaluating digital forensics and case management platforms. Strong project management skills, as well as analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build collegial and effective relationships with business leaders and support functions is essential. Must be a creative and strategic thinker, detailed-oriented, a quick learner, and able to set and juggle priorities while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.Experience managing teams is preferred. Experience working in pharmaceutical industry is preferred. Deadline: December 28, 2018
