Counsel 3 - Corporate Properties Group Operations Support Duties: Provide legal support for Corporate Properties Group operational matters such as third-party contracts related to procurement of products and services fors facilities, renewable energy procurement, corporate security, and other operational matters related tos extensive leased and owned corporate real estate portfolio. Support will include: Providing legal advice and support with structuring, drafting, and negotiating various software, hardware, hosted technology and complex services transactional documents with Corporate Properties Groups wide range of third party suppliers, including contracts related to renewable energy, building technologies (e.g., security and physical access systems) and facilities-related products and services; advising clients on risk management, conflict resolution, and contract interpretation, compliance, remediation, and enforcement; managing legal escalations froms procurement organization, Supply Chain Management, on third-party contracts and issues; developing transactional templates and associated guidance, check-lists, and training materials primarily related to third-party contracting; establishing effective processes and procedures related to real estate-related operational issues such as facilities-based litigation, project management, and corporate security issues; and advising clients on regulatory issues related to corporate real estate operational and third-party issues.

Qualifications: Active State Bar membership. 5+ years of experience as a practicing Attorney. Desired Qualifications: Ability to analyze legal issues in substantive law in area of practice and provide effective advice to clients on complex legal matters. Extensive knowledge and understanding of research, counsel, and guidance on complex legal questions or inquiries. Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Effective organizational, multi tasking, and prioritizing skills. Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines. Other Desired Qualifications. Recent legal experience resolving complex procurement contract issues, and representing clients with respect to significant contract and business matters. Recent legal experience structuring, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of complex technology, renewable energy procurement, building and facilities services agreements. Experience advising management on complex legal, regulatory and business issues. Experience working in a fast-paced work environment. Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts across wide range of affiliates, business units, departments and fields, and synthesize disparate advice and recommendations to create coherent work product.
