Insurance Defense Attorney - Bodily Injury/No-Fault The candidate as an Attorney within house counsel group, will be a member of insurance defense litigation team, handling both Bodily Injury (BI) and Personal Injury Protection/No-Fault (PIP) cases. In this role, will be providing legal representation to Progressive insureds and/or to the Progressive Insurance Companies before courts and arbitration panels in all aspects of litigation. Handling own cases from beginning to end, you will also prepare legal pleadings, motions, statements, trial briefs and be involved in negotiating settlements. Work closely wicustomers and claims team to ensure all appropriate defenses are leveraged to reach positive outcomes.

The candidate should have Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in Minnesota is required. Must have 2 years of auto bodily injury insurance defense or plaintiff's personal injury experience. Wisconsin license to practice law strongly preferred (or willing to obtain license soon after hire). Should have listening, verbal and written communication skills. Must have ability to litigate and try cases.
