Corporate Attorney Duties: Support the Company across various matters including contract drafting, negotiations and support, IP, IT, engineering, marketing and privacy aspects of the company. Identify legal risks and execute mitigation plans by understanding legal issues and translating them into practical legal advice. Report directly to our President, as a member of the Legal, Finance and Talent function. Provides legal counsel and negotiation of contracts related to technology, including privacy and data protection, information management, technology outsourcing and procurement, software licensing, software development, and other relevant needs of a growing technology company. Monitors developments, including proposed legislation and court decisions related to technology and evaluates potential impact on operations. Anticipate and mitigate potential legal problems within the organization. Drafts, reviews, and negotiates a variety of agreements and documents of increasing complexity. Advise internal clients regarding legal and business issues, including identifying and communicating risks associated with specific agreements. Continuously improve the Companys standard template agreements in response to growing company needs. Work with external attorneys in several countries. Using data collection, research, and analysis to evaluate project outcomes and improve individual and organizational performance. Continuously seeking ways to improve processes and/or systems. Demonstrating excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills both internal and external to the Company. Thriving in a fast-paced environment, managing deliverables and deadlines with minimal supervision. Being proactive and helping to see around corners from a legal standpoint, as we do things we have never done before. Exhibiting integrity with a solution-oriented approach to resolving issues. Developing expertise in new or unfamiliar areas of law.

Qualifications: JD Degree with strong academic credentials and a state Bar member in good standing Saas/Tech company experience required; counseling a growing SAAS company (small to mid-size). 5+ years of legal experience, experience in a corporate legal department and a top law firm preferred. Experience with data topics, including contracts and various client issues.
