Associate General Counsel, Labor & Employment - Investigations

Associate General Counsel, Labor & Employment Investigations The candidate will report to the Director & Associate General Counsel responsible for all cross-functional employment law support, and will focus on providing employment law support to our investigations function. Provide employment law support for HR internal investigations. Regular duties include: Advising on internal investigations to be conducted by the HR Investigations team, including partnering with investigators on strategy and witness interviews. Making recommendations as to action needed, including recommendations on discipline, in connection with HR investigations. Communicating case status updates to relevant stakeholders. Participating in close-out meetings with investigators, HR, and the impacted business. Reviewing investigation reports. Advising on investigation processes and training programs, Candidate must be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary to connect with colleagues in LATAM, APAC, and EMEA. Should have J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one U.S. state Bar. Must have 10+ years of experience in labor and employment law. Should have experience investigating and/or advising on investigations of employee complaints, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower, and policy violations. Experience with California or New York employment law, including employment litigation experience is needed. Experience with international employment issues is desired.
