Corporate Counsel - Employment The candidate will support the attorneys on the Employment law and Litigation teams on a variety of litigation matters and disputes across firms functions and states, including support on demand letters, EEOC charges, early case assessment, factual development, discovery and hearings/trials. Manage subpoena responses, legal holds and other procedural litigation matters, conduct and/or managing legal research and assist attorneys with investigations, disputes and regulatory issues/inquiries, as needed. Provide advice and counsel to the Human Resources team across firms national operations. Provides advice and counsel to HR team on a national basis on a wide range of labor and employment matters. Supports attorneys on a variety of employment litigation matters and disputes, including demand letters, EEOC Charges, early case assessment, factual development, discovery and hearings/trials. Assist with disputes and litigation with health care providers. Conducts and/or manages the legal research a variety of statutes, regulations, case law, and other legal avenues for best outcomes. Interfaces with senior executives, vice presidents and other key members of the firm's leadership team. Prepares the organization for and ensures compliance with all legal revisions or new legislation. Manage subpoenas, legal holds and other procedural matters and/or processes. Perform other duties as assigned.

The candidate must have Juris Doctor degree. Must be a member in good standing of a relevant state bar; Florida provides for in-house counsel admission without examination. Must have 4+ years of experience in employment litigation experience at a law firm or in-house settings with strong academic credentials. Should preferably have 4 years of experience in health care/health insurance, health care provider disputes, or other insurance-related litigation. Should preferably have 2 years of experience in supervising the work of paralegals. Should have intermediate ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities. Must have intermediate ability to drive multiple projects. Should have intermediate demonstrated written communication skills. Must have intermediate demonstrated organizational skills. Other State Bar Membership is required. Should have Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Word; Advanced Microsoft Excel; Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint; Advanced Microsoft Outlook. Intermediate Other Serengeti is preferred.
