No Fault Litigation Supervising Attorney The candidate will supervises PIP/Non-Fault litigation matters referred from the local state claims office from inception through trial. Directly handles No-Fault case load from inception through trial in addition to supervising cases assigned to other staff attorneys. Works closely with management and the local claims office to assist in developing best practices for handling No-Fault matters. Coordinates assignments and calendaring among internal staff and ensure high-quality case handling in a cost-efficient manner. Recommends internal processes and best practices designed to achieve high-quality representation and case resolution that serves the best interest of the client in an effective, cost-efficient manner within the limits prescribed by law. Supervises staff attorneys and support staff assigned to handle No-Fault litigation matters to ensure case handling standards and favorable results are being achieved. Monitors and advises on changes in applicable state statutes, regulations and case law relative to No-Fault litigation. Provides periodic assistance with direct audits of outside defense panel and may assist in handling third party litigation matters. May be responsible for the employment, promotion, associate performance evaluation, training, motivation, counseling, and discipline of assigned associates.

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in political science and/or equivalent education required; Juries Doctorate (JD) degree is required from an ABA approved school. Must have 5+ year's litigation defense attorney with 2+ years experience handling state No-Fault defense litigation is required with 2+ year's people management of attorney is preferred. Trial experience is required and staff counsel experience is preferred. Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently. Should have demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and within a collaborative team oriented environment using sound judgment in decision-making. Excellent communication skills both oral and written with strong analytical skills are required. Must have demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and calendaring software programs.
