Regulatory Compliance Counsel

Regulatory Compliance Counsel The candidate will provide advice and counsel to various internal clients and legal colleagues on compliance issues, including anti-bribery and corruption, political law, and ethics issues; Work with regional colleagues on design and continued build-out of corporate compliance function, including anti-bribery and corruption program and implementation of technological solutions; Partner with Policy team on operation of political law compliance program to ensure compliance with applicable lobbying disclosure, ethics, and campaign finance laws; Partner with Compliance team on development and roll out of compliance-related training programs and communications; Assist with internal investigations of possible misconduct. The candidate must have 6+ years of experience advising on compliance issues with multiple functions across multiple regions (more experience welcome and taken into account); Must have experience with compliance-related laws, including Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), U.K. Bribery Act (UKBA), Lobbying Disclosure Act, and state/local political/ethics laws; Must have experience with utilizing technology to solve compliance issues, including design and implementation of technology systems; Must have ability to quickly get up to speed on complex technical and regulatory issues; Must have ability to navigate complex internal organization, with the skills to confidently negotiate issues, influence people and manage effectively in ambiguity with little input or direction; Must have proven track record of effective project management and meeting deadlines under pressure; Must have strong interpersonal skills to create easy working relationship with internal teams, as well as external constituents and partners; must be a member of Bar of office location or eligible to register as Registered In-House Counsel.
