Contracts Attorney The candidate will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities: Developing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and contract amendments for various Business Groups. Providing legal support as needed with commercial and compliance matters relating to company and its subsidiaries. Working collaboratively with company management and other Legal Department Personnel to support commercial and corporate activities. Drafting, reviewing, revising, and approving legal terms and conditions of contracts and amendments prior to execution by management, including domestic and international distribution agreements, product supply and pricing agreements with GPOs, IHNs, Hospitals and Hospital Groups, purchasing contracts with suppliers of a wide variety of products or services, software and information technology contracts, consulting agreements, confidentiality agreements and other miscellaneous contracts and corporate documents. Coordinating contract review by a variety of internal teams to ensure compliance with internal requirements for contract review. Advising regarding company interactions with healthcare providers and related Federal and State reporting. Assisting with commercial matters and corporate projects. Serving as a resource on all contracts-related issues, support for corporate, litigation, and intellectual property personnel and other legal functions.

The candidate requires law degree with strong academic credentials. Must have 5 years of full-time legal experience, with primary activity supporting corporate and commercial contracting activities, with in-house medical device or healthcare industry experience. Must be active member of the California State Bar or California State Bar eligibility. Experience working as in-house attorney with a vertically-integrated company having manufacturing and direct distribution is preferred. Should have strong knowledge of contract documents and concepts, strong drafting skills and attention to detail. Must have strong organizational and time management skills, ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
